The staff at the La Cocina Bar And Grill are dedicated to their customers, bringing them freshly made authentic Mexican cuisine.
I thought it would be fun to write something a bit more comprehensive about our experiences at this great Mexican food place in Temecula and give you an idea of what you can expect when you visit, and perhaps encourage or discourage you from attending this restaurant.
Outside The La Cocina Bar And Grill
The restaurant itself is located approximately 4 miles away from the I - 15 freeway, east on Temecula Parkway. The restaurant is located in the Henry’s Farmers Market and Sports Authority’s shopping center, (to the left of Wal-Mart).
The outside of the La Cocina looks like any other strip mall restaurant. They have two outside seating areas. One outside the bar area, and the other is outside the main dinning area.
The Interior Was Fun, Inviting And Smelled Wonderful
 As we walked in the large arched wooden front door, the hostess was off to my right greeting us with her smile.
As I looked around I saw a large full-service bar to the right. You could sit at the bar and enjoy a drink, or sit at one of many bar side tables and watch their big screen T.V's. You could also sit out on the patio and enjoy a wonderful evening outside with friends.
It didn't take but a few minutes for us to get seated in their large dining room. The dining room layout is pretty ordinary, except for a few things I thought were kind of unique. They have these incredibly large tables in the center of the room made out of real wood and some incredibly large chairs to sit on. It looked like something you'd see in the movies.
Anyway, the dining room had some nice comfortable booths to sit in, with tables also made from real wood. Toward the back of the restaurant was a second bar. This bar area I found out later could be used for private parties or corporate events.
The La Cocina Food
 After we sat down, our waiter made sure that we had some chips and homemade salsa. I must say the homemade salsa was perfect. Not to mild, not too hot and not watery.
The night we were there, I ordered their La Cocina Burrito with rice and beans. After dinner arrived at our table and everyone started eating, I noticed how large everyone's portions were. I must admit, I’m a big burrito fan. My chicken burrito sure didn't disappoint me. Hot and flavorful all the way to the end.
On top of their regular menu items, they also have lunch specials and a kid’s menu. They recently added a Sunday brunch. You must do brunch at the La Cocina. Their brunch is served from 9am to 2pm and I recommend reservations.
Our Dining Experience At The La Cocina Bar And Grill
 Overall our dining experience was exceptional.
I didn't expect a strip mall restaurant to serve such great food.
Great food, great value and exceptional service is just the norm for this Mexican restaurant.
You get a feeling that everyone at the La Cocina wants to take care of you just like family.
