Introduce Yourself To Temecula, California Wineries

temecula If you’re visiting our Temecula California wineries, you know that we are famous for wine.

The Temecula California wineries attracts tourists, wedding parties and businesses groups.

Since there are so many different vineyards and wineries, (over 30 currently in operation), it is best if you familiarize yourself with them in order to narrow your search.

Why Wine, You Ask?

This region is naturally suited to the winemaking industry. Temecula Valley experiences warm temperatures and moderated conditions. This means that it never gets too hot or too cold thanks to Temecula’s closeness to the ocean. You can generally expect warm sunny days with cool ocean breezes in the valley. Further, Temecula Valley soil is rich in granite which is essential for grape-growing. With all of these perfect conditions, Temecula Valley is able to grow California’s finest grapes and produce award-winning wines all across the region.

The Rustic Experience Of The Temecula Vineyards

temecula Depending on the nature of your visit, you will need to find a winery that is suitable or you and some guests.

Out Temecula, California wineries vary greatly in their size, atmosphere and management.

Some are very small and predominantly family owned and family-run.

These are wineries focused on giving you an authentic experience without much added luxury.

They accept only small groups and do not have the facilities to accommodate receptions or private events. These are still beautiful properties however, and they offer you a welcoming intimacy that larger, corporate-owned wineries will not. If it’s a quaint and quiet afternoon that you are seeking, look into the smaller wineries like the Foote Print Winery.

This is a family-owned Certified Organic farm. This means that only organic grapes are used in their wines, which are all unfiltered. A note of warning: the Foote Print Winery only serves red wine, so always check smaller wineries for these types of limitations if you have specific preferences.

Is A Wedding In The Picture? temecula

If it’s a wedding or large event that you’re planning, you will want to take a look at some of the larger or corporate-owned wineries that can host and accommodate big parties.

These wineries will include facilities for receptions, banquets and live music. The Wilson Creek Winery and Vineyards is an example of a slightly larger facility.

It has an elegant pavilion and gazebo for your group to enjoy food, drinks or music. There is a stage for live jazz and over 70 acres of vineyards. This is a nice choice because although it can accommodate large events, it is still a family run establishment, so it has that same friendly, intimate and personal atmosphere.

Whichever route you take, you will have a wonderful and rewarding time at any of our Temecula California wineries. Both types of wine tasting experiences are valuable in their own right, so simply decide which best describes your personal plans.
