The Temecula Library, What’s In Store For You?
 The Temecula Library is a strong part of our community. It provides not only resources material to everyone, but also books to open the minds of our young children.
But there is more than just books at the library. It offers many services that are perfect for the entire family.
From a safe place to do homework, to a genealogy research center everyone can find something to do to pass the day away here.
One cool thing is if a book you want isn’t available at the Temecula Library, the library will order it from one of their partner libraries and have the book delivered to them. From there, they will call you when the book is available and you can start to read it.
From their online website you can also, reserve a computer before you arrive, renew an already checked out book, reserve a room for a meeting, view upcoming events and even download an audio book to your computer.

Once you’ve reserved your computer and made it to the library you are welcomed with over 40 computers that you can use for free with your library card.
The card is free to residents. A $1 fee will get a visitor card.
These computers are connected to the Internet and provide users with access to Microsoft Office 2003 software. You however need to bring a storage device as the system will not allow you to save your files to the computer. If you have a laptop, you can use the wireless Wi-Fi system free of time restrictions. Each system provides the user with 1 hour of access.
A Comprehensive Children’s Section
 In addition to all this, there is also a comprehensive children’s section. There are books designed for all young ages, from babies to teens.
More importantly it is chocked full of programs to succeed. It offers live homework help from Tutor.com, computer systems with internet access designed for children, Toddler Story time designed for toddler’s, The Story Balloons which is designed for older children and more programs to promote reading and a love of stories to your child.
These are only part of a larger collection of items available for children. Plus there is a homework center where children can also receive free tutoring from Temecula Teachers.
Genealogy Society Meetings
Last, but far from the least, the beautiful Temecula Library offers access to a Genealogy Society that provides the community with an opportunity to research their history.
 The Society meets every 2nd Monday of the month, unless there is a holiday, and then it is rescheduled to an alternate Monday.
Anyone who wants to attend it welcome too, there is plenty of experience and equipment to help you begin the research of your family tree.
As you can see there are plenty of offerings for everyone at the Temecula Library enough to open the mind, and give you the power to learn more about the world and yourself. It certainly is the perfect place to be.
