Classic Curriculum
The academic program of study at Temecula Preparatory School follows the classic curriculum that promotes the three developmental phases of a primary student – grammar, logic and the rhetoric.
The school really believes, it's not all about studies. A great deal of emphasis is laid on the physical development of the students as well as the athletic teams. There are numerous field trips that add more value to a student’s academic interests.
Students are also given the opportunity in music and groups of students are encouraged to play at concert every year. The school encourages the participation of parents as well as public in its school programs.
There are regular open houses, which allow the public to actually see what is taught here and how it is done. It is a wonderful way for parents to assess the development and progress of their children.
Enrollment
Their program is commitment to individual growth and learning. The enrollment effaces is dedicated to discipline, ethical values, personal responsibility, and “respectfulness”.
Physical education and athletics are an important element of a well-rounded student. Art, art appreciation, and music are an integral part of the classical curriculum. Latin has been integrated into the Language Arts curriculum.
The school is a big believer in maturity and not intelligence is the measure of moving a child ahead. Uniforms are required for the students at the parent’s expense.
They believe the dress code for students and teachers promotes a sense of identity with the school, eliminates the competition fostered by fashion dictates, and also supports the school’s seriousness of purpose.
