Show Organizers & Major Sponsors - P&R Foundation
The event is put on by a non-profit organization called the P&R Foundation. It was founded in 2003 by three men who shared a communal desire to create change in the Temecula community. They looked to what they knew and loved best: cars!
Today the P&R board has expanded, but the same heart and drive of its original members still fuel its efforts. Nobody is paid for his or her efforts; P&R works on a completely voluntary basis. Temecula residents are giving of their time in the name of bettering the community and keeping traditions alive.
This spring the Rod Run raised $175 000 for the Boys and Girls Club of the Southwest County. The Boys and Girls club is a safe haven for thousands of adolescents and children experiencing any sort of trouble with their peer groups or families.
Sponsors included Paradise Chevrolet, Casino Pauma and the Drifters Car Club.
