Temecula Tattoo, A Tattooer’s Prospective
Temecula tattoo, a tattooer’s prospective. This page was written from a Tattooer’s Prospective: Tara goes into what you should expect with your first tattoo, and the most common questions.
Choosing Your First Tattoo
A lot of people like to choose a tattoo that has some meaning to them. Some people don’t, it’s a matter of opinion.
Just remember that you are going to have it forever. So, it is important that you like what you’re getting.
Where Do I go?
There are a lot of professional tattoo shops in Temecula to choose from. It is not recommended to go and get one out of someone’s house. You need to make sure you know the following:
Are the needles new, clean and sterile? How long have they been tattooing? And make sure to review their portfolio and you like what you see.
Most tattoo artists these days are certified with the health department and OSHA.
The Painful Spots
The placement of your tattoo should be important to you. Make sure you like where it is.
Ask yourself if it matters if you can see the tattoo or not? Will it hurt?
Of course its not comfortable but there are some spots that will be more sensitive than others.
These are examples of sensitive areas:
- The lower back
- Top of your foot
- Sides of your rib cage
- And the inside of the wrist
Time And Costs
Depending on the size of your tattoo and whether its color or not will depend on how long its going to take and how much its going to cost you. Most shops have a minimum. of $40-$60, and an hourly rate of $100 or more. Remember you get what you pay for and it shouldn't’t be a question of it costing too much money.
The Process
The process of a tattoo is a made by inserting indelible ink into the layers of skin to change the pigment.
The most common method of tattooing is a electric tattoo machine.
This machine inserts ink into the skin with a group of needles that are soldered onto a bar, which is attached to an oscillating unit.
This unit rapidly and repeatedly drives the needles in and out of the skin, usually 80 to 150 times a second.
What To Expect During The Healing Process
Your new tattoo will be very sensitive. It will feel as if you have a sunburn. Make sure to follow the instructions the tattoo artist gives you on how to take care of your new tattoo while it is healing.
It might take 2-3 weeks for it to completely heal. Stay out of the sun, salt water, Jacuzzi’s and baths during the healing time. Don’t scratch or pick at it. Keep it clean and make sure to wash your hands before applying any lotion.
Tattooing can be anything from a word or a small symbol to an entire body tattoo. Tattoos are most commonly done for decorative purposes but sometime it is done for spiritual reasons.
Tattoos have experienced a surge in popularity, particularly in North and South America, Japan, and Europe.
During the first decade of the 21st century, the presence of tattoos became very evident within our pop culture. This has inspired some new television shows.
There are several Temecula tattoo places around town. I am sure if you are thinking of getting this procedure done, you can select from anyone of the Temecula tattoo parlors.
Enjoy your new tattoo!!!
