Your Experience In The Wine Country
Wine tasting is done in every winery in order to grade their wines daily, but the wineries are especially busy on the weekends.
Temecula wine tasting can be a grand experience because they first take you on the tour where you visit the grape yards and then watch the grapes processed before going into giant vats to ferment.
After this is done, the wine is finally placed in wooden barrels where it lies in wait for months and sometimes years until it is ready to come to your table.
Wine tasting options are best during the weekends when the wineries bring out their best for taste. They include some local cheese and crackers and all of a sudden you have a party going. This experience is especially interesting when you are staying at the winery’s inn.
They sometimes include wine tasting crash courses so you can learn how to identify this or that wine and the grape it was made with.
Wine tasting visits should be planned in advance with a couple of friends so that you can relax with them and basically hang out.
No worries no rushes, just good company and good wine to complement it. (Pictured is South Coast Winery and Spa's tasting room)
Resorts And Inns
The hotels and inns in this area are old fashioned, they are large houses turned into inns mostly. They have huge rooms and large comfortable beds where you want to lie all day long, you get home made meals cooked with local ingredients and natural produce bought in the local farms.
