Taking A Temecula Winery Tour Is Easy And Fun!

temecula winery sign image If you are visiting the Temecula Valley for the first time, a tour of a Temecula Winery should definitely be at the top of the list of things to do!

Temecula has nearly 40 wineries in operation today. Many of these have even won awards. Temecula owes much of its success to its favorable climate.

The weather in the valley is very moderated thanks to its proximity to the ocean. Typical Temecula weather involves warm sunshine that you’ll enjoy mid-day and breezes from the ocean that sweep through the valley to keep you cool. Its winning weather combined with its granite-based soil makes Temecula Valley truly ideal for grape-growing.

A Wealth Of Wineries To Choose From

Selecting a winery to tour is a tough decision thanks to the quantity and variety of wineries that Temecula has to offer. If you have the time and taste for wine, you should try to see a couple during your stay. There isn’t a more enjoyable way for a wine lover to pass the day. You can soak up the Southern California sunshine while tasting all of the wonderful flavors of Temecula. Here are just two of our stand-out wineries for you to consider.

Ponte Winery

This Temecula winery has an infamous Pinot Grigio as well as many unique and popular blends. One of the most well-liked is the Beverino.

The Ponte Winery hosts many wedding receptions and business dinners, but can also be an inexpensive and fun way to spend an afternoon.

Tastings are only $10 per person Monday through Thursday and $12 Friday through Sunday. This includes 6 tastings and your very own Ponte Winery souvenir glass. What a fantastic deal!

The Wilson Creek Winery

temecula This beautiful estate is right at the end of Rancho California Road. With a 20-acre winery, over 70 acres of vineyards and several awards under its belt, Wilson Creek is a lovely family-owned choice.

This is a very popular location for weddings and other formal events thanks to its luxurious pavilion, gazebo and jazz stage. Lit up at night, Wilson Creek is breathtaking. Its winemaker and staff share a love of wine and dedication to their craft. You’ll feel right at home in this warm, welcoming, elegant environment.

You can easily browse more wineries to determine which ones meet your personal preferences and needs. One thing is for sure, there are plenty to choose from.

Whether you’re organizing a private event or seeking a peaceful afternoon, there is a Temecula winery suited to your plans.
